Through years of doing mind-body healing work on myself and with hundreds of clients, I have seen firsthand how powerful and supportive (effective, necessary, absolutely game-changing!) self-compassion can be for our healing. If you feel like you're "doing everything right" and still not feeling the relief you desire, I invite you to consider your relationship with yourself (and how that might get in the way of you feeling safe in your body). Self-compassion allows us to embody more kindness, acceptance, and connection with ourselves and, in my experience, can unlock the safety and inner peace we're looking for.


In a safe and non-judgmental space, I will lead an educational discussion about why self-compassion is the "secret sauce" along the healing journey with food and body image. Then I will guide you through an activity in real time to support you in integrating the material. You will, of course, have the opportunity to ask questions as well!


In this workshop, you will learn to...


  • Non-judgmentally and honestly meet yourself exactly where you are with acceptance, love, and empathy (embody tender self-compassion to support inner healing


  • Practice mindfulness around what’s working for you right now (as well as what isn’t) and identify what you’d like to do about it


  • Move toward your long-term well-being by supporting you in drawing boundaries, making changes, and taking action (exercising fierce self-compassion to make outer change)
