You’re here for a reason: you’re struggling with your relationship to food, and dieting isn’t working. You’ve tried countless things countless times, and you always end up lost, frustrated, and exactly where you started…but each time the cycle repeats, you’re a little more tired, a little more defeated, and a little more afraid that this will never end.
The truth is that food isn't the problem. Focusing on "fixing your eating habits" is like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound.
The real problem is a disconnection between your mind, body, and soul. When your brain-body system feels safe to operate as it was designed (you’re living in alignment mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially, physically, environmentally, and physiologically), it can finally feel accessible for you to “listen to your body,” eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full, and experience peace and freedom in your relationship with food.
When it doesn’t, you might find yourself in a pattern of overeating, undereating, mindless eating, emotional eating, stress eating, chronic or yo-yo dieting, or all of the above. Without addressing the real problem holistically, that pattern isn’t going to change.
Which means that the real solution lies beyond dieting and superficial fixes. The real solution is to reconnect to yourself.
